Whiskey Sour


Whiskey Sour
This classic cocktail was first mentioned in a Wisconsin newspaper in 1870.  Its bite, and character, have made this drink legendary.  There are a few variations, but most recipes include Whiskey (Bourbon), fresh Lemon Juice, and a simple syrup.  You definitely don't have to be a big fan of Whiskey to enjoy his tart treat.  We hope you give it a try...our featured cocktail...Whiskey Sour.  Cheers!
2 oz Whiskey (Bourbon)
2 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
1.5 oz. Simple Syrup (equal parts water and sugar...heated)
Lemon (or Orange) Slice
Combine the Whiskey, Juice, and Syrup, into an ice filled cocktail shaker.  Cover, shake well, and strain into an ice filled Rocks glass.  Garnish with the Lemon and Cherry, insert a couple of sipping straws, and get ready to pucker up, with this classic drink...
