Watermelon Margarita

Watermelon Margarita
With watermelons coming into their peak season, it seems like a great time to feature a few cocktails starring this summer treat.  Thought to have originated in southern Africa, the watermelon has long been a favorite of many cultures, and its seeds were actually found in the tomb of Pharaoh Tutankhamun.  Our recipe basically infuses our honoree with a classic drink, creating a vibrant, refreshing, palate pleaser.  We hope you enjoy our featured cocktail... Watermelon Margarita.  Cheers!
6 oz. Tequila
2 oz. Lime Juice
16 oz. of blended Seedless Watermelon
4 oz. Margarita Mix
Salt (optional)
Tbsp. of sugar (if you like a sweeter drink)
(Makes about 4 drinks)
Blend the Watermelon until it's liquified.  Add the Tequila, Triple Sec, Lime Juice, Margarita Mix, and about 12 cubes of ice.  Blend until it's the consistency that you like.  Rim your Margarita glass with salt (optional), and pour in your mixture, leaving a little room in the glass.  Next, float about an ounce of the Watermelon Pucker on top to kick it up...another notch.  Garnish with a slice of Watermelon, and enjoy your Watermelon Margarita!
