Swirl From Ipanema

Swirl From Ipanema
The name of this cocktail is basically a play on words of the classic song, "The Girl From Ipanema".  The Grammy winning song was inspired by a young lady's daily walk through the fashionable Ipanema district in Rio de Janeiro.  First released over 50 years ago, it's thought to be the second most recorded pop song, behind the Beatle's "Yesterday".  The cocktail is a great tasting meld of Pineapple, Coconut, Chocolate, and Coffee, brought together as a frozen drink that will transport you to a tropical paradise.  We hope that you'll give it a try, our featured cocktail... Swirl From Ipanema.  Cheers!

2 oz. Kahlua
4 oz. Pineapple Juice
2 Tbsp. Cream of Coconut
2 oz. Half & Half
Chocolate Syrup
Pineapple Wedge and/or Cherry to garnish
1 cup of ice
(makes enough for two drinks)
Combine the ingredients into a blender.  Blend on high for about a minute.  To get the "Swirl", take a chilled Martini glass, turn it sideways, and slowly twirl it by the stem as you drizzle Chocolate syrup along the inside of the glass.  Once you're finished, set the glass upright, pour in your cocktail, garnish accordingly, and get ready to set sail with your delicious...
