OBX is the ubiquitous series of letters referring to the Outer Banks of North Carolina. The Outer Banks are a 200 mile string of barrier islands that cover most of the North Carolina coastline. The OBX abbreviation was created in 1994 and subsequently trademarked. But by 2006, the term had become so commonly used, that a circuit court ruled that OBX was no longer a valid trademark. In any case, those three little letters seem to always evoke a smile and some great memories. With our tribute to OBX, we present this delicious Rum filled drink, and hope you enjoy our featured cocktail... OBX Breeze. Cheers!
