There are some big choices when it comes to Martinis.... Gin vs. Vodka... shaken vs. stirred... "up" vs. on the rocks... dry, or not... and then there's the choice of garnishes. Our Dirty Martini (the term "Dirty" simply refers to adding some olive juice to the drink) will be made with Vodka, shaken, up (no ice), not too dry (dryness refers to the amount of Vermuth used), and garnished with Green Olives. You should experiment a bit to see what you think tastes best. We hope you enjoy this recipe for our featured cocktail... Dirty Martini. Cheers!
.25 oz Dry Vermouth
.25 oz Juice from the Olive Jar
Green Olives to garnish
Combine the ingredients in an ice filled cocktail shaker. Cover, shake well, and strain into a chilled Martini glass. To garnish, either drop a few Olives into the glass, or skewer them on a toothpick and lay them on the inside of the glass. It's a great Happy Hour cocktail that should put you in the perfect mood for what ever the night brings. Give it a try, the... Dirty Martini...!!!
