Bossa Nova

Bossa Nova

The term "Bossa Nova" is thought to be of Brazilian descent, and roughly translated, means "new trend".  The phrase took hold in the late fifties, and referred to a new style of music that fused Samba and Jazz.  I don't know the story of how this cocktail came to be, however, I do know that it has a great tropical taste with quite a few levels of flavor.  The Galliano adds a somewhat sweet and herbal flavor that helps gives this cocktail a complex and unique taste.  Do enjoy our featured cocktail, the... Bossa Nova!
